It is Memorial Day looking north from the south side of Chicago. It is hazy hot and humid as summer attempts to move in. And while the beach sand is hot to the touch, Lake Michigan refuses to let you forget that it is not summer yet.

I've always wanted to at least see the chicago area.
Every few months I am overwelmed by the feeling to be visually artistic. If I am already out and about I will buy a cheap disposable camara and set to satisfying my urge. Otherwise I use my amcient 20 year old Minolta camara and 800 film.
My first wife was a photographer and she used a relatively inexpensive Canon Camara. She was a fine photographer. My second wife had an expensive Hasalblaad? But she couldn't take a decent picture to save her life. I believe it is the sense and the perspective of the artist that determines the quality of the art. The equipment is secondary. Beethoven could compose on a harmonica. Da Vinci could make art with Crayolas.
now that is stunning...the blue is just so...mmmm. i need to come here more often!
