U.S. Post Office

This is the central branch of the United States Post Office. When it was constructed it was the largest building in the world, that is until the Merchandise Mart was erected. It takes up more than two entire city blocks. As the central hub for the U.S. Post Office, more mail moved through that building than any other facilityin the nation. It now sits deserted. The Post Office moved across the street to a new and improved facility.

How would you go about demolishing soething like that? Or would you turn it into luxury condos?

I vote for condos!!
My son once lived in an old cotton mill that had been turned into apartments..
It was so cool..

Condo's, definately.

hey, I hear that there is a building in downtown Chicago that has 9/11 illuminated onto the side of it via the office lights...I don't know what building it is, but if you see it, could you snap a photo of it? If you do, you can email it to me that way you don't have to post it. If you don't want to click it, that's okay too...I am just curious to see it.
